Frequently asked questions

Straight answers on what TUR Active Group does, how it works and how to request a quote.

What does TUR Active Group do?

TUR Active Group, S.L. is a Spanish company based in Barcelona that acts as an intermediary in the hydrocarbons sector. It works in three lines: crude and refined product cargoes by vessel, full tanker-truck fuel supply (known in Spain as cubetaje) from terminals in Spain and Portugal, and the sale of assets such as service stations and offshore equipment.

What is cubetaje?

Cubetaje is the Spanish term for selling fuel by the full tanker truck, loaded at a storage terminal. Every week TUR Active Group compares the terms of several operators and offers diesel A, B and C, 95 and 98 petrol, FAME biodiesel and HVO, with collection at the terminal or delivery by ADR transport, paid in advance or cash on delivery.

Which products and volumes can be contracted by vessel?

EN 590 and ULSD diesel, gasoline, Jet A-1, fuel oil and crude oil, from coasters and MR tankers up to cargoes of more than 80,000 tonnes, on spot or term contracts of up to 12 months, with independent inspection at loading and discharge.

How does a vessel transaction start?

With the signature of a non-circumvention and non-disclosure agreement (NCNDA) and the buyer's letter of intent (LOI). The parties are then verified (KYC), the seller issues a soft corporate offer (SCO) and a full corporate offer (FCO), the buyer sends an irrevocable corporate purchase order (ICPO), and the sale and purchase agreement (SPA) is signed together with the fee agreement (IMFPA).

Do you sell service stations?

Yes. TUR Active Group has its own portfolio of service stations in Catalonia and the rest of Spain, both branded and unbranded, sold individually or through the company that owns them. The file for each asset is shared after signing a confidentiality agreement.

Which offshore equipment do you supply?

CALM and SPM mooring buoys, anchoring systems and chain, floating and submarine marine hoses, and vessel and terminal equipment, new or second-hand with inspection.

In which countries does TUR Active Group operate?

In Spain and Portugal, the rest of Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, the United States and Africa. It works in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
